Giuseppe (Joe) D’Amata

is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Law, and a member of the Bar of the State of New York and the Law Society of Upper Canada, Ontario, Canada. By virtue of his New York licensure he is authorized to practice immigration law in all states of the United States. Joe has several years of experience in U.S. immigration law and is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).

Joe has extensive experience working with foreign nationals, employers, and corporate clients to obtain nonimmigrant work visas (H-1B, H-2B, E-1, E-2, E-3, L-1, O-1, P-1, R-1) as well as waivers of the J-1 two-year foreign residency requirement. In addition, Joe has significant experience in employment-based immigration through labor certification, petitions for scientists and artists of extraordinary ability and national interest waivers. He also has experience with family-based immigration through fiancé and spousal petitions and in securing the removal of conditions on permanent residence. Joe has also submitted petitions on behalf of abused spouses of U.S. citizens and permanent residents and on behalf of victims of criminal activity. Joe has also appeared before the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the Immigration Courts, and on appeal before the Board of Immigration Appeals.
